Nanjing Second Architectural Design Institute was established in 1984. It has Class A qualifications in the construction industry (construction engineering), Class B qualifications in landscape architecture, Class B qualifications in municipal public engineering supervision, Class A qualifications in housing construction engineering supervision, and fire safety assessment. It is one of the Class A design institutes approved by the Ministry of Construction. In 2004, with the approval of the relevant departments of the Nanjing Municipal Government, the restructuring was renamed Nanjing Second Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd. The company's professional design business scope has involved urban planning, architectural design, landscape design, interior design, cultural and tourism integration, urban renewal, underground space research institute, low-carbon and capacity architectural design, situational design and design consulting, EPC whole process consulting, Supervision, cost, bidding, fire evaluation, fire detection and fire acceptance and other fields.
Since 2018, it has successively won more than 10 provincial and ministerial design awards, covering urban design, cultural and tourism integration, public buildings, urban renewal and transformation, residential planning and other fields. With a number of technological innovations and patent certifications, it successfully passed the national, provincial and municipal high-tech enterprise certification, and obtained the Nanjing Carbon Neutrality Engineering Technology Research Center the following year.
