Design Background

The Nanjing Legal Industrial Park Project is located in Hongshan New Town, Xuanwu District, Nanjing City. The area focuses on the goal of building a "Xuanwu New Center", relying on the construction of Tiebei Hongshan New Town, and with the help of regional transformation and upgrading, focusing on the three leading industries of high-end business and trade, scientific and technological research and development, and cultural and tourism experience. The project is located at the eastern end of the 1800-meter science and technology innovation industry axis science and technology belt on Hongshan South Road. The area is being shaped around the direction of a brand-new science and technology innovation industry gathering area. The special location of the eastern gateway makes it a representative project in due course.

After several rounds of industrial planning and positioning and repeated revision and adjustment, the project is positioned as a one-stop intelligent sharing ecological park for the legal industry.

Architectural Design

In response to the urban relationship, larger buildings (8F) are set on the west and south interfaces facing the city. The building volume on the west and north sides of the plot should be reduced accordingly to resolve the pressure of surrounding building height and sunshine retreat. Combined with the entrance and exit of motor vehicles, the south and north sides of the plot are disconnected along Wen Ba Road respectively, and the urban visual corridor is opened to increase the visual permeability of the site. The bottom layer is overhead along the corner of Jing Wu Road and Hongshan South Road, opening the facade along the street, forming the image surface of the main pedestrian entrance, expanding the city display circle and improving the city image of the park. The plane function of the building is mainly office, and some buildings are equipped with staff canteens on the first floor and the second floor. The plane layout is mainly based on the open office space, and the traffic and auxiliary space are concentrated on the north side of the building.

Facade design

The facade design is simple and lively, with a large area of glass curtain wall to highlight the corporate image. The use of fixed fans and side-openable perforated aluminum windows for ventilation on traditional curtain walls is a highlight of this design. The facade of the building adopts glass curtain wall, stone curtain wall and aluminum curtain wall system, which strives to express a distinctive, stable, simple and elegant architectural form with pure image and concise and powerful body.
